KokomaSoft ("Company") values the privacy of SmartBap ("App") users and complies with applicable laws and regulations. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.
1. Information Processed
SmartBap is a meal logging app that can be used without creating an account. The app may store meal records you enter or select (date, meal type, food name, serving amount, calories, nutrition values, and notes), food photos, personalization settings (birth year, sex, height, weight, activity level, goal, and daily calorie target), and app preferences (theme, display mode, and photo saving settings) on your device. For ad display, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may process advertising identifiers, device information, ad impressions, and ad interaction information.
2. How Information Is Used
Information is used to save and display meal records, calculate calories and nutrients, provide daily/weekly/monthly statistics, generate briefings based on recent meal records, estimate daily calorie targets from body profile settings, display and operate ads, and respond to user inquiries.
3. Remote AI Analysis
If remote AI analysis is enabled in the release build, food photos or image data needed for photo analysis, meal records and nutrition summaries, and selected body profile context needed for personalized briefings may be sent to a Cloudflare Worker and an AI provider when you use food photo analysis or diet briefing features. The OpenAI API key is not included in the app and is managed as a server-side secret.
4. Third-Party Services
When remote AI analysis is enabled, Cloudflare Worker and the AI provider may process data to provide the analysis. Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google LLC may process ad-related data to display ads. SmartBap currently does not include external analytics SDKs or account authentication services in the app code.
5. Retention and Deletion
Meal records, photos, and settings are stored locally on your device by default. You can delete meal records in the app. Local data is deleted when you clear the app data in Android settings or uninstall the app. For questions about remote AI processing data or ad-related data processing, contact kokomasoft@gmail.com.
6. Security
When remote AI analysis is used, network transmission uses HTTPS. No internet transmission or electronic storage method can be guaranteed completely secure, but the developer maintains reasonable protective measures.
7. Health Information Notice
SmartBap statistics, briefings, and estimated calorie targets are informational lifestyle references based on recorded meals and user-provided profile data. They are not medical diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or professional nutrition advice. Please consult a qualified professional for diet management related to medical conditions.
8. Children, Contact, and Changes
SmartBap is not directed to children. If a guardian believes a child's personal information has been processed through the app, please contact kokomasoft@gmail.com. This policy will be updated if app features, data handling, or external service usage changes.
